About Us

The Greater Fredericksburg United States Bowling Congress Association was chartered in 2005.  The association provides services to the adult and youth bowlers of the Fredericksburg, Virginia area and the three (3) bowling centers in the Fredericksburg area.  The bowling centers are AMF Fredericksburg, Cannon Ball Lanes, and Liberty Center Massaponax.  For more information regarding the bowling centers, click CENTERS.
The board of directors consists for 11 members of which three (3) are youth directors.  To view/dowload the association bylaws, CLICK HERE.
The association conducts four (4) tournaments each bowling season.  The Senior tournment in November; Women's tournament in January; Youth tournament in February; and the Open Championship tournament in March.  For entry forms and results click TOURNAMENTS.

Each season the association publishes a average book.  To download any average book since 2002 (average books for 2002-2003, 2003-2004, and 2004-2005 are women only from the Fredericksburg Area Women's Bowling Association which became part of GFUSBCA in 2005) click AVERAGES.

Each year the association awards a scholarship to a graduating senior girl and boy in the GFUSBC youth leagues and to an adult bowling in a GFUSBC certified league who is currently enrolled in college or trade school.  Click FORMS to download the applicable form. 
The association conducts a workshop for league officers in August to provide league certification material to the league officers and information regarding USBC and GFUSBC rules changes.
